About AdventStats

AdventStats re-presents Seventh-day Adventist church statistics with modern, accessible visualizations. It sits on top of the hard work already done in collecting these figures — we always reference the source and are not the official statistics provider.

Sources

• Annual Statistical Report (Office of Archives, Statistics, and Research) — membership, baptisms, churches, and related field statistics used throughout charts and profiles.
• OrgMast — organizational structure, field codes, country presence, and map coordinates used for the world presence map and hierarchy.

Last data update: July 16, 2026. 1007 entities, 40,109 statistical records.

Methodology

Official field statistics are stored and shown verbatim from the source reports. A few presentation figures — for example compound growth on curated insights, or year-over-year deltas — are calculated by AdventStats from those official series. Parent totals are never replaced by a sum of children; where they differ, we can flag the gap for review without changing the published number.

You can embed an AdventStats chart on another website with an iframe. Build the view in Explore, then use Embed to copy the snippet.

The chart fills the iframe, so set height to the size you want. Optional query params: view=stat for a single figure, mode=breakdown with year for sub-field shares, theme=light or theme=dark, and controls=1 to show the time-range slider (off by default). Hover values stay available either way. Embeds always credit AdventStats and link back to the full explorer.
